Early Childhood Services
Educational daycares are available in the Kent Region area for infants and preschool and school-age children. The Early Childhood Services portal is the one-stop shop that contains all the information about daycare services in New Brunswick. Parents or guardians can create an account and find licensed educational daycares in their area. Detailed information on subsidy programs and provincial inspection reports are also available on the portal.
Assistance Programs
The Daycare Assistance Program offers financial support to families with children aged 0 to 12 to pay for daycare fees. Families with an annual income of $55,000 or less are eligible. The Parental Subsidy - Designated Center provides financial support to families with children aged 0 to 5 to pay for daycare fees. Families with an annual income between $37,501 and $80,000 are eligible.

Alternative Childcare Services
In the event that guardians do not have access to a licensed daycare within a 5km radius, they may be eligible for a subsidy allowing for unlicensed childcare services.
A Support Program
Children aged 0 to 5 who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder are entitled to early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI). Financial aid is available and allows children to benefit from a maximum of 20 hours of EIBI per week through an approved autism organization. To learn more, please consult this link.
